PSG closing in on Chelsea target Gabriel Moscardo

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo (18), and according to Foot Mercatoa €22m bid has been submitted to their Brazilian counterparts. 

Chelsea had looked to be the frontrunner to sign the highly-rated midfielder, however, PSG have overtaken the Premier League club. L’Équipe are reporting that a deal between Corinthians and PSG is advanced, whilst Foot Mercato have gone so far as to add that a €22m bid has been submitted. Both publications are, however, unanimous on one point – a deal has yet to be reached. 

Moscardo’s agents nearing agreement on personal terms with PSG

Corinthians are reportedly holding out for €25m for Moscardo and it seems the Brazilian club are wanting to quickly conclude the deal. According to Foot Mercato, Corinthians want the deal completed before the beginning of the January transfer window with the club’s current president, Duili Monteiro Alves departing at the end of the calendar year. 

Whilst PSG near an agreement with Corinthians, significant progress is being made on personal terms. According to Foot Mercato, the player’s agent, Rodolfo Ximenes, have already reached an agreement with Les Parisiens, whilst L’Équipe report that Luis Campos will fly out to Brazil in the coming days to meet with Ximenes.
