Former Marseille and PSG goalkeeper coach Nicolas Dehon leaves OGC Nice

Nicolas Dehon, who arrived as a goalkeeper coach at OGC Nice in 2020, has seen his contract terminated by the club, as reported by L’Équipe. Dehon, who has previously worked at Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain, had not been integrated into Francesco Farioli’s staff at Le Gym.

Dehon was still at the club, despite not being part of Farioli’s staff. The Italian manager, who began his career as a goalkeeping coach, brought in Jarkko Tuomisto when he arrived at the club this summer. However, despite this, Dehon was still under contract with Les Aiglons. This contract has now been officially terminated. Dehon worked with goalkeepers such as Walter Benitez, Kasper Schmeichel and Marcin Bulka, and the coach was partially responsible for the arrival of the latter. The Polish goalkeeper has enjoyed a strong start to the season.

According to L’Équipe, Dehon was approached by the FFF upon Thierry Henry’s arrival as France U21 manager, and he is now free to take that role, should an agreement be reached between all parties.
