Montpellier set to sign former Stuttgart winger Tanguy Coulibaly

According to Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Montpellier HSC are set to sign former Stuttgart winger Tanguy Coulibaly (22), who has been without a club since the expiry of his contract in the summer.

Coulibaly, who was once in the Paris Saint-Germain academy, joined Stuttgart on a free transfer back in the summer of 2019. He went on to make 74 appearances for the Bundesliga club, however, he reportedly chose not to extend his contract and he, therefore, left on a free last summer, bringing his four-year stay in Germany to an end.

He has been without a club since, however, he is now set for a return to France, as reported by Toubache-Ter. The versatile winger, who can play on the left or the right, is set to travel to Montpellier on Monday ahead of signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Ligue 1 club. He will face strong competition with Arnaud Nordin and Mousa Al-Taamari currently occupying the wide areas.
