Bordeaux made offer for Guingamp’s Jérémy Livolant

Ligue 2 side Bordeaux are set to test EA Guingamp’s resolve by making an offer to one of their best performers, forward Jérémy Livolant (25). Foot Mercato are reporting that the Bordeaux board is looking for offensive reinforcements and made an offer for Livolant. The Guingamp forward is quietly making a name for himself and is producing his best season to date. He has registered three assists and scored seven goals, including this half-volley from long range at Laval this summer.

The Brittany side fell to 12th place in Ligue 2 standings after a string of unconvincing results. Foot Mercato add that Guingamp have no intention of selling Livolant, who is tied down to a contract until 2024, to one of their Ligue 2 rivals. But the forward knows he would have a better shot at playing Ligue 1 at Bordeaux than at Guingamp, who are currently eight points behind the Girondins.
